Ravi Kashyap founded Gain Knowledge in 2009 at the peak of the financial crisis while in his final year of MBA studies at the Stern School of Business, New York University. He believes that rigid categorization of roles and responsibilities caused smart people to lose sight of critical factors and fueled the crisis to epic proportions. His belief in non-specialized, cross functional problem solving is constantly affirmed when watching students and professionals alike change their specializations and resumes dozens of times to suit the company and the description of the job they are applying to. He restarted Gain Knowledge Group in 2011 focused on bringing solutions not focused on any particular discipline to non-financial service firms.
Having worked at various financial service firms in New York, including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, he moved to Hong Kong to be part of the Asian growth story. He is currently an Equity Strategist at Morgan Stanley. He holds an Undergraduate Degree from National Institute of Technology, Calicut. He enjoys playing volleyball and skiing when he is not strategizing, gaining knowledge or problem solving.

Vijay Kumar has more than ten years of professional experience in the semiconductor, wireless and mobile space. He is based out of Dallas, USA and is currently employed with one of the largest semiconductor companies with responsibility for their programs & customer management in the wireless business.
His relationship management skills will enable our team of Problem Solvers to have a better reach and more meaningful dialogues among clients within the United States, while his problem solving skills will benefit all our clients globally.
He holds a Bachelors Degree from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and a Masters Degree from University of Cincinnati. Apart from being involved with charitable groups & social organizations, he is a keen sports and music enthusiast. His interests also include traveling and palm reading.
